Hey, Rusty! i'm just trying to add to the installation process - create the gameroot and that sort of stuff, and i can't for the life of me figure out how the following works: stephan@jareth:~/cvs/qub/gamesets/lib/icons >cat Makefile.am xpmdir = $(pkgdatadir)/icons XPMS = $(wildcard *.xpm) xpm_DATA = $(XPMS) EXTRA_DIST = $(XPMS) Okay, i understand the EXTRA_DIST, but how the hell does the install process know that $xmpdir is the right dir to send EXTRA_DIST stuff to? Is "xpm_DATA" a way of saying "*.xpm goes to $pkgdatadir"? What i'm trying to do is to install a couple of gcoms built at install-time (using the new installation of gcommaker), and maybe copy a sample gameset over to ~/gameroot. i love what you did with the install, splitting it up into the standard $prefix/share/, etc. That makes a lot more sense, and the icon loader now first looks in gameroot, then in $prefix/share/qub/icons, which makes a lot more sense then how it used to be done. Unrelated: i recently found out that lyx lets you export from the command line, so one of these days i can add a check for lyx into configure.ac and build the docs from the sources if they've got it. ----- st...@wa... http://qub.sourceforge.net - http://radioaqtiph.sourceforge.net http://www.countermoves.net - http://stephan.rootonfire.org "Attention is narrowed perception." -- Alan W.
