A (quasi) stable release of the 0.2 version is now available. The latest contains several important fixes in the ecommerce system and the addition of a new module for blogging.
The CMS has now been in production on a live ecommerce site for about one month, during which time a number of improvements have been made. I am formally declaring it stable now and it should provide at least a stable platform for website construction now.
In other news, we have been offered a hosting solution for the next year - hopefully we'll get this together soon and publish another demo site.
This is the official release of QuasiCMS Version 0.2 (Beta)
... actually the first "official" release. Many new features have
been added including a simple installer. Quasi now supports
PayPal, Authorize.net, live shipping rates from USPS and Fedex
as well as printing shipping labels from both.
This is still an early version and the administrative interface is

There have been a few schema changes since the snapshot example database was released - this will cause some brokeness. I will release new example data with the upcoming release, but until then the changes are trivial and can be added using phpmyadmin or a similar tool - see the latest quasi.sql changes for additions. After adding the new columns, run the code generation and things should be at least a bit less broken .. a "real" release is on the way so hang in there.
Quasi CMS is nearing a "real" release. Currently the ecommerce code is being reworked and cleaned up a bit and the default style is being finished so that things will look at least ok out of the box.
