I thought of that too, especially as we had in the past our issue with
smaller boxes.  In the, and on a lurk, I just turned optimisation off and
suppress debug symbols (as we do on some build platforms) and that worked (on
my reasonably beefy amd64 box).  Will upload in a minute and watch how the
other builders do.
