#143 Non-linear "scene" based arrangement, a la seq24, bitwig, ableton...

I love being able to sequence without breaking a flow. I also love making my songs out of reusable chunks. Ableton & Bitwig are made for this. On Linux, we have Sooperlooper, Luppp, Seq24 and Non-seq. But none of these cut it. Seq24 is the closest for me, but it's pretty crusty (unstable) and MIDI only.

Well in QTractor, I typically compose by setting the loop region and using take folders. This is fine, but it's still nothing compared to breaking your song up into reusable "scenes" of regions that you can transition between without stopping the track...

It'd be really cool if you could even use take folders alongside this "scene" mode. I don't think Ableton or Bitwig let you do this :)

you're probably misunderstanding the milestone move (into git_head) which just means that is not there yet if ever ;)

This is also called a 'session view' or 'clip launcher'.

That would be really great! Linux is missing a good sequencer for live use, and a clip launcher seems to be only missing bit in QTractor.
