The HDR Generation Wizard suffers from a number of serious faults. Some of them in no particular order:
1- You cannot actually see what you're doing.
2- There are things in the GUI which don't belong there, like the first screen of the HDR Generation Wizard. That should go into a manual, not into the wizard.
3- Buttons and things all over the place. You can clearly see the wizard started off in a different form and things were added on here and there in a makeshift way, without eventually streamlining the whole wizard and making it consistent.
4- You can't generate the HDR at any moment, you have to click through the wizard.
5- If you change your mind about anything in the previous step, you have to start from the beginning.
etc.
I tried to address all of these issues and ones unlisted by making a mockup of a new wizard interface. It should be easier to use and save time. Hope you find it useful.
I used the Balsamiq Mockups web demo to create it.
How can I use the XML file?
You can open it from this website:

I was initially going to make it in Glade (for GTK+ 3) or QT Designer, but then thought making it more abstract would be better, so found and used that website.
