#78 Color banding problems in highlights when merging TIFF

Merging together three TIFF\'s with auto-aligh causes some banding to appear in the highlights rendering the resulting image unusable. I\'m attempting to attach a screen clip showing the issue and will also try attaching the original TIFF files I used. This happened with 2.0.2pre1. Can't attach more than 256k. If you need a screen shot or input files, let me know.
