I just downloaded Luminance HDR and tried it for the first time. I have yet to get it to successfully composite an HDR. It crashes every time.

I'm guessing this is not typical behavior, so perhaps it has something to do with my image files?
They were originally PNG files (rendered in Blender, then converted to JPEG using GIMP because Luminance HDR does not currently support PNG). The noisy renders are due to limitations of my CPU, but disregard that. :-p

Maybe because their metadata differs from a typical photo that has something to do with the problem. Or maybe not.
I have attached the exact three images I used, so you can test for yourself. The exposure values to be assigned are included in the file names.

Here is the complete crash report: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/686388/posts/sourceforge/luminance_hdr_240mac_jpeg_crashreport.txt

Thanks to anyone who can help eliminate this bug. Would love to be able to use this software.

Edit: Disregard my comment about PNG not being supported. I see from the documentation that it is supported. PNGs were grayed out in my file browser when selecting input images for whatever reason, and not in the list of "all formats", but that's another topic.

Update 2: I installed the older Luminance HDR 2.3.0 on my other machine running OS X 10.6.8 and it works just fine there. It seems there is a problem with the build of the Mountain Lion version. At least I can use it somewhere for the time being, but I hope this gets fixed.
