Hi, I installed qsstats here owned by root: /var/qsstats /var/qsstats/cache And the webpages here owned by apache: /var/www/qsstats It seems to be running since the cache is updated every 5 minutes but there is no data on the webpages. All there is is this: [rbl_table.html] Mail stats since: [scan_start] Total mail scanned: [total_mail] Total viruses stopped: [total_virus] Total spam found: [total_spam] Spam percentage: [spam_percent] Page last generated: [curr_time] Scan starts every [rescan_time] minutes. [virus_table.html] [sender_table.html] [local_table.html] There does not seem to be any data written to the /var/www/qsstats I have installed rrdtool and the rrd perl modules - I think I got them all - maybe not? Any ideas? What are the actual dependencies? Thanks in advance! Ken |

Hi :)
for log-rotation I've something like that:
elessar:/etc/logrotate.d# cat qmail-scanner
/var/spool/qmailscan/*.log {
rotate 5
size=10M
compress
notifempty
missingok
}
what qsstats does about that? I've to change something on my
configuration?
Thanks for your support
Regards
Andrea

1) delete all cache and re-run qsstats. This usually happens, when you run
qsstats incorrectly, and on following runs qsstats a run in correct way.
2) in order to vew rbl statistic, you need to modify qyou qmail-smtpd/run
script.
This is needed, because in other way there will be no entries of rbl-blocked
mesages in mail.log file.
I suggest the following way:
/usr/local/bin/tcpserver -v -R -l "$LOCAL" -x /etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -c
"$MAXSMTPD" \
-u "$QMAILDUID" -g "$NOFILESGID" 0 smtp
rblsmtpd -r rbl.somehost -r \
rbl1.somehost
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd 2>&1 | /var/qmail/bin/splogger qmail-smtpd
This modification sends all qmail-smtpd releted messages into main log file
(ussualy mail.log)..
