Hello, I updated this, cause it was rather broken. Now you can delete and other stuff. I changed it to use the new slightly less evil sqlite apis. I suppose I can commit it myself if someone wants to add me... sourceforge id rjwittams ... if I am the only person using it atm... but get it in there.. I may have gone mad on the indentation, mess around with it if you like.. I'll stick it the patch thingy as well. Robert Wittams |

Hello, > 1) Are you guys ok with the code? I noticed there have not been any > commits, and I thought maybe I could help on any doubts you may have. The code is no problem, it is well written and easy to understand. The re= ason=20 why there have been no commits, is that I have no time at the moment. I'm= =20 working on KBarcode, which will use qsqlite later. I commited the original README immediatly. If I have some more= free=20 time, I'll also add a header to the source files which states that this i= s=20 you code! Hello, I am the original author of qsqlite, and have a couple of small questions: 1) Are you guys ok with the code? I noticed there have not been any commits, and I thought maybe I could help on any doubts you may have. 2) Could you guys please put my name back on it? Qsqlite happens to be in my resume, and if I say "I wrote it", and someone sees my name is nowhere (it was in the original readme), he may get weird ideas. Not to mention that if you don' t do it you violate the GPL ;-) Best regards, ("\''/").__..-''"`-. . Roberto Alsina `9_ 9 ) `-. ( ).`-._.`) ra...@kd... (_Y_.)' ._ ) `._`. Hi, All files are in CVS now (well not all just the 2 source files and a tmak= e=20 project file). The plugin compiles now also against a multi threaded vers= ion=20 of Qt. I renamed the sprucefiles to qsqlite.cpp and .h, I hope this is no= =20 problem. We should later add also a COPYING, INSTALL and README file. The highest priority has IMO the COPYING file to make clear which license= we=20 are using (GPL, don't we?). Additionally I would suggest adding a header=20 comment to all source files which sais also that we are using GPL. Please commit all your fixes and ask questions if you have problems ;). I wasn't able to test qsqlite with kbarcode yet, because of several probl= ems=20 in the kbarcode source, but I hope I can start testing soon. Hi, > Could you check in your changes into cvs and could you tell me how i > could work with it (i understand how cvs works but could you tell me yo= u > settings usw.) I have made some small changes to but i want to check > them into the cvs code. I don't want to check the changes into CVS yet, because the build system = is=20 IMHO very bad at the moment. I wasn't able yet to compile a version linke= d to=20 a multi threaded version of qt. (BTW, is it possible to use plugins linke= d to=20 the non mt version of qt in a multithreaded version?)=20 I would like to continue using tmake, because it is very easy compared to= the=20 autoconf/automake stuff.=20 My settings for CVS: I added to my .bashrc the following lines: <schnipp> # CVS settings export CVS_RSH=3Dssh=20 # Replace USERNAME with your SF.net username export CVSROOT=3DU...@cv...:/cvsroot/qsqlite=20 </schnapp> AFAIK you have to execute the following command before you can access CVS= on=20 SF: "ssh USE...@cv..." Roberto H. Alsina the orgininal qsqlite author answered today. He sais we= can=20 continue developing his code. And the state of the code:=20 > "Basically, it seems to work, but noone is using it, so it is not activ= ely > maintained, and probably would show to be buggy if you actually do an > app around it." =20 So our main job will be debugging ;) CU Dom --=20 ************************************************************ Dominik Seichter - dom...@we... Hi, I am currently short on time so I wasn't able to do much work for qsqlite= =2E I=20 hope this will change next week. Hello, i have written two emails on to trolltech and one to the main developer of sqlite. To ask if it is possible and legal to write a qt plugin for sqlite. After that i found : http://dbstep.sourceforge.net/ which maybe help to understand the abstraction layer of sqlite. Hope this helps. Andreas -- Andreas Scherf ICQ: 52910964 sc...@we... |
