Thanks for your patch. I've already fixed this and had posted a patch to one of the bugs in the tracker. I should go ahead and release 2.2.4 so that people don't keep stumbling over this. In 2.2.4, in addition to fixing the bug, -Werror will be off by default. Thanks!
