I'm not quite sure, though, what you'll need to do to get the table to redisplay after issuing the above calls. In some cases, I'm not even sure what you'd expect. If a page of data is displayed in the table, and there are no empty rows at the bottom, you'd discover the new rows only by scrolling anyway. (The number of rows shown in the status bar could be updated right away, though.) You're in somewhat new territory here. In normal use, it's only during scrolling that new rows will appear, and that's typically reasonable because you'd only notice new data appearing if you happened to be at the very last page of data and that page was not full. If you come up with a solution that seems generally useful, though, please post it. Derrell |
