After unzipping qModMaster 0.5.3 and attempting to run. the application throws the following error:
qModMaster.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point CreateEventW could not be loacated in the dynamic link library api-ms-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll.
I have previous version 0.5.2-3 works without a problem, so probably need to update something although not sure what.

Hi. Can you please download again the latest build. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce the error you get.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

I can run 0.5.3-beta on Win10 Pro Plus x64, but not on Win7 SP1 x64 and I see the same error message as OP (screenshot attached).

The procedure entry point CreateEventW could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll

Online search turned up this MS help forum question but even after verifying I have Visual C++ Redist (attachment 2) and installing this update (and restarting Windows), the beta version still fails to load.

Could it be the upgrade to Qt 6.2.1? See commentary here: https://github.com/texstudio-org/texstudio/issues/1916

I'd really like to run the beta since it supports reading registers as floats. But I don't want to upgrade to Win10.

    Hi elbar,
Sorry I missed your reply - I meant: could this be caused by the upgrade to Qt 6.2.1 in commit 9867ae?

    Hello Patrick.

Most probably yes. I hope that upgrading to the latest Qt version is the solution for this issue.

    Best regards
