My ideal setup would be to create a variety of CC LFO midi files and then switch between them in seq24 (sequencer64). I understand I can (and will for now) record qmidiarp in a sequencer, but a direct export in qmidiarp would make that workflow much easier (no hooking together or topping/tailing).

    Hi,
I'll give it a thought, this should be feasible. Although the idea of qmidiarp is its use as a live tool, I understand that sometimes you want to write down, export good things and use them elsewhere...

The new version of sequencer64 (0.9.10.0) now doesn't crash with jack transport sync use, so I've found it relatively easy to record a one shot play from a qmidiarp LFO (looping creates clusters of MIDI control events, but I guess that's probably on the recieving end..?), though, saying that, I spent a few days looking and couldn't find any other software that could directly create MIDI files with such LFOd CC info for 'offline' use, so consider this a (low priority imo) feature request (that could help someone somewheres workflow) for a rainy day :)
