Hi Daniel! On Saturday 28 April 2012 13:42:56 dbarpas wrote: > I hope this is the right place to ask since I didn't find any other > suitable address in the project homepage. Yes, this is the correct place ask (our prefered contact), and I greatly appreciate your offer! > If it's ok and there isn't already a maintainer, I would like to take on > the "Spanish (es)" translation. Cool! We don't have a Spanish translation yet -- so, welcome to the club :)! > I've been looking at the guide to writing translations with Qt Linguist > and it seems simple enough and I also have experience with some > translation work offline so I think I can do a decent job at it. OK, I'll add this account to the member-list soon and you will then have SVN write access! As mentioned in the article, I'll have to do some preparations in the source tree in order to add "Spanish (es)" to the available languages. I'll let you know when it's done, at which point you can start working on the translation. > If there's anything else I need to do (contact the project maintainer > directly maybe?) or anyone needs to know before accepting the > application, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm the project maintainer and you can always contact me directly if things are better discussed off-list. But I prefer "public discussions" (since others may be able to help, too), and also because the information is then archived... One question, though: Could you tell me/us your full Name, please? Daniel Barpas perhaps? ;-) That's just because I want to credit every team member with his/her full name... Thanks again! Have fun, René |
