Oh, I nearly forgot... another area of major changes was '-verifyroms' in case 
you want to take a deeper look, mainly because also MAME now has sets w/o ROMs 
(some device sets), and the outputs partially changed due to it (i.e. "romset 
[...] has no roms"). Although I discussed this with some of the MAME/MESS 
devs, they still prefer to produce (IMHO) 'inconsistent' outputs when either 
the complete collection is verified (a.k.a. 'full audit') or just a single 
set. And because of this I had to implement a few work-arounds for some corner 
cases... not always fun, to be honest :).
