I guess that no e-mail is being delivered now...

Plesk doesn't use an standard qmail installation 
and it does some strange things...

What is the output of the command?
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl -V

If it returns an error there is some syntax error 
in it, if not, maybe the problem is that the 
process doesn't have enough memory to run. I 
don't know where Plesk sets the memory limit for 
the qmail-smtpd process, try to increase it.

And increase the debug level in qmail-scanner...
