I would like to have a show starting each time the birds come on stage, the piece of classic music has sections where the lights could change - so everything looks to be in place.
But I have two issues -
Firstly there are two buttons 'S' and 'M' on the show timeline which don't have any documentation associated with them ... ( I think 'M' might be for MUTE , and 'S' might be for STEREO, or START - but I am just guessing )
Secondly whatever I do to these buttons the music doesn't restart from the beginning of the track - it just pauses and next time you click on the Birds Button it continues from where it left off ...
Hi, this is not a development matter. Moved to the right thread.
"S" means "Solo" like on any other multitrack sequencer you can find around.
To restart a Show just hit the stop button twice. (like on any sequencer as well)
Anyway you're right, they're not documented. I need to find the time to do it.

But pressing STOP twice doesn't restart the music ( from the beginning of the track ) - and anyway you wouldn't be able to press STOP twice from the Virtual Console button.
and since the birds come on about three or four times in the show - it means I can't really use a button from the console to start the Birds' sequence.
thanks
Greg

The situation has got more confusing - I am just adding tracks and some of them play from the start when selected from the Virtual Panel and others start from where they left off last time they played... ( They are all .mp3 tracks )
So it seems I have managed to choose Morning.mp3 as one of the tracks that won't start from the beginning - so it seems that the focus of my query has changed.
I enclose a JPG and it seems that the tracks with a bit rate of 0Kbps don't seem to want to start from the beginning each time they are requested to play - where as others do - I will add a track to the link ( previously ) that does restart from the beginning each time.
Sorry this isn't your issue - I am having trouble with these tracks using NCH software ...
( The trouble is the tracks play fine with Media Player and the like )
Leave it with me ...
Sorry
Greg

This is a link to the software and the music ...

( You'll have to re-locate the Music as it's pointer will have changed )
If you want to broadcast this demo of your software - then feel free ...
Thanks for brilliant software

We're talking about different things here:
Solo and mute buttons, stop button twice belongs to the Show Manager panel
If you assign a show to a Virtual console button it starts/stops the show if you press it once.
