When adding a channel in fixture editor the Coarse/Fine selection is always available regardless of the type of channel selected (QLC+ 4.7.1a). See the screenshot.

Lorenzo, and why did you decide this is a bug ?
Have a look at the Martin MAC 700 profile and you'll realize there are fixtures with 16bit modes also for colors and other types of channels.
They're still not used by QLC+, but still...
