On IGS network, If you sort the player list by rank, the new players will be added at the end of the list regardless of their rank. So then the list is unsorted.
It is not fixed here, see attached a screenshot of the problem, the rank column is sorted and when people are added to the list they are added at the end, regardless of their rank.

You know its weird. You don't have anything in observer, playing, country, or match settings columns. Is that normal?
I'm thinking maybe there's a setting that I have on my account that qgo should send but doesn't like "set client 1" or something. This could also cause the match dialogs to not come up potentially.

I thought that those columns were not well implemented yet...
In fact when I first connect to the server those columns are full (showing the country, the match prefs, played game and observed game, etc...) but people that are added at the end of the list are like what you can see on my screenshot : "play" set to -1, and all other columns empty.
I tried "set client 1" but the server answered : "Sorry."

Now that I think about it, nevermind, the columns are normal. You have to hit the player refresh button to get the full information. But I'm still not sure why the ranks aren't sorted or the match dialogs aren't coming up, that's really weird.

This is actually because of some nonsense in Qt that I can't get a straight answer out of the Qt people about because no one knows. And I'm sick of screwing with it. If its ever fixed, I'll let you know.

If you're cryptic "corking" comment is referring to the fact that list views are once more completely broken with Qt 4.7.2, I have no clue what the Qt people did or how to fix it but hopefully I'll get to it eventually.

yeah I know about this one, I have no idea why it does that, its something to do with Qt, hopefully I'll fix it eventually
On second thought, I thought I fixed that.

Is this still an issue?
Unfortunately yes, see attached capture2.png to see the problem again (qgo2 latest (cvs patchset 590))
Problem shown with build 590
