Select the "E" tab on the right hand sidebar.
Click the "Color of next move" button in the "Edit Tools" menu. The cursor changes to a white stone. Drop the stone. It is black.

    This is not a bug.
It's only a feature that is not correctly explained in the UI :

in EDIT mode, the stones you drop are not 'next moves' stones.
They are 'current move' added stones.

Therefore, when you want to add a white stone into the current position (IN THE SAME MOVE !) you left click for black, and right click for white.

The use of the 'color of next move' is for resuming the play line, AFTER you have edited the position. You can then choose to resume with, either a black, or a white move.

Sorry the UI is not very explicit with this.

    Regards

    Emmanuel

Thank you for the clarification regarding how to drop white stones. What I find to be confusing is to see a cursor that is a semitransparent stone (either black or white depending on whose turn it is in the game) in edit mode as such a cursor can be used to play (or remove) either color stone. If the cursor was not a stone at all I might find it less confusing.

Also, when I change the "Color of next move" button and then return to the "NS" game tab, it does not appear to have an effect on who plays next. Am I using this feature incorrectly?
