QDBlog 0.4 is finally here. This is our most featureful and smallest version so far. If you have any problems or questions or bugs or anything, please contact me so that they can be fixed or improved for 0.5 (which will tidy everything up even more). Thank You.

School and work have let up a bit due to the summerness. I have been using my free time to work on QDBlog 0.4. It is a complete rewrite and will be faster, possibly smaller, and actually have some features this time around. Features will include

*More powerful user control and permissions (and the ability to have normal non-admin user accounts)

Believe it or not, QDBlog has not been abandoned. I am still working on it. The next release .4 will have all sorts of nice things like a simple templating system, and a few other things. It might be a bit before it is released though, seeing as I have school projects and things to get done. Expect frenzied development once I get some free time. That is all.

I am pleased to announce the release of QDBlog 0.3. In addition to its previous blogging features, posting of entries, editing and deleting of said entries, categories, etc., a commenting system has been added. The commenting system seems to work pretty well (and prevents crapfloods to boot), so rock on!
I also beefed up the topic system. YOu now get to choose two, count 'em 2 topics for your entry to be placed in.
Even with all of these features it is still only 15.8 kb compressed and about 35 uncompressed (and the GPL is 6kb of that!).
QDBlog's goal of becoming a tiny yet feature full and customizable blogging utility is continuing to develop at a frenzied rate. Before the next release (0.4) I will try and just clean up the code and fulfill some feature requests (so submit them).

Today the finishing touches were put on QDBlog 0.2 and it was released. 0.2 introduces categories for entries, and an easy admin tool to manage them. These new features only added about one kilobyte to its size (currently <16kb compressed, <25kb uncompressed). QDBlog seems to be working rather well, I have been using the version on my website to do actual blogging and it hasn't been a problem. The next feature that will be implemented should be a commenting system. Once that is working 0.3 will be released. Peace

I have the main framework for different categories working now. I expect to have a category admin tool within the next few days. Once I get categories implemented, I believe I will release qdblog-0.2. Expect it friday or saturday. Peace

When I released the qdblog-0.1, I forgot to include the install/ folder. Once I was made aware of the issue I quickly released qdblog-0.1.1 that included the file, if you downloaded qdblog-0.1 please update it. Sorry for any inconvenience.
