We are pleased to announce the release of QaTraq version 6.9.2. This latest release provides, amongst other things, improved performance for test scripts with high numbers of test cases, the ability to update multiple test cases in a test script in one go and more html editing capabilities.

With work on stage 6 complete you now have the capability to track requirements and tests against requirements. QaTraq now providing you with the component and requirement test coverage data essential to every test project.

We've squeezed far more into this, the last Stage 6, beta release than we thought possible. This latest release of QaTraq contains, amongst other things, an integrated Html editor, support for UTF-8 and the ability to update multiple results in one go.

The latest QaTraq reports package is available. This new release includes 3 reports which help you prioritise your testing.

A new QaTraq Reports package (qatraq_reports_0_5_beta) has been released, containing a few minor bug fixes to existing reports and one new report. The new 'Script per Build Priority' report provides priority based reporting for test cases and test results.

We’ve finally brought work on Stage 6 to completion. You’ll find many new treats in this new release including ‘Quick Script’, attachments for test results (for recording test logs) and a simplified approach to updating the testers assigned to test results. QaTraq stage 6 is now available for download from SourceForge.

Good progress is being made towards a final Stage 6 release. In the mean time the interim release 6_1_beta includes a few more pieces of functionality and a couple of bug fixes.

We're aiming for a full release of stage 6 on the 12th of December.

The QaTraq team have pulled together a set of tutorials to help you get the best out of QaTraq. These tutorials are based around the typical tasks you and your test team will be carrying out. Take a look at http://www.testmanagement.com/in_practice.html

We still have a little way to go before we release a completed Stage 6 build. However, this interim release 6_0_beta includes some key new functionality (tracking platforms/os and attachments in results).

Three new report formats have just been released for use with QaTraq (version 0_7_beta). By installing the new reports package you are provided with the capability to see exactly where you are with your test progress. Development of Stage 5 functionality for QA Traq is now well under way. A Full release should be available within a few weeks. In the mean time download an interim development release from our download page. This release includes, amongst other things, improved navigation and attachments for test scripts and test cases.

Whilst the first beta release can be considered stable enough to deploy within test projects the QATraq development team are keen to get as much feedback as possible from beta testers.
