I'm having difficulty get the gui to launch. I can launch qalc but not qalculate. qalculate does not exist. I've installed all the packages but the gtk one, and I can't get a gui to come up. also, when compiling qalculate-kde I get a lot of warnings about not-virtual destructors. Is this normal?

the only packages you need to install to get the kde gui is libqalculate and qalculate-kde.

can you please give me some more details. is it the latest Qalculate! version (0.9.0)?, did you install from source or a binary package?, are there any qalculate and qalculate-kde executables in your kde bin dir (where you installed qalculate-kde)?, do you have any Qalculate! menu item in the kde menu (utilities sub menu)?, which kde version?, which linux distribution?, did you get any errors with "make install" (can you post the output), ...?

I don't get any warnings about non-virtual destructors, but it shouldn't be any problem.
