2 Pentium Duo Core, 1.5G ram
3 root account change theme,
change root password in new theme,
cannot use new root password to login to root
custom changes in [root] account NOT reflected when theme changed

so to be clear you change root password, change theme, logout of new theme, cannot log back in to root(new theme) with new password
[affecting any changes made prior to switching theme where changes NOT reflected]

We are not able to reproduce the issue and have mo feedback from the original poster so closing this bugreport
