I had Q4OS running and made a hardware change and it locked it at a terminal login screen, I cant remember the Default Username, that goes with my user password, I dont think i got to set up a Root password on the main setup and im locked out, if i cant get in i guess ill have to reinstall does anyone know any of the default usernames or default root password, or someway to make the terminal screen list user names? thanks!!! crider.wr@gmail.com

If you have proceed 'quick' installation, the default user is 'adminq'. You have been asked to set own password during post-install phase. If you have proceed 'classic' install you have chosen your own username and password. Root password is disabled in Q4OS by default.

We recommend to change your password in 'Recovery mode'. If you want so, tap 'Escape' key during computer boot, the 'Grub' blue table appears. Go to 'Advanced options ..' -> '.. recovery mode ..', computer will boot into root bash prompt. Run 'getent passwd | grep 1000' to list the first user, then 'passwd username' to change the password.
