Does the live media support UEFI? I created a USB (with dd) and I cannot get it to recognize on any of my machines as bootable (all UEFI, none have secure boot enabled, none have legacy support enabled). I thought I read that it was supposed to.

    Thanks.

Although Debian Jessie (8.0) does include general UEFI support already, there are still some features that have not yet been implemented.

    UEFI support in live images:
At this point, UEFI support exists only in Debian's installation images. The accompanying live images do not have support for UEFI boot, as the live-build software used to generate them still does not include it. Hopefully the debian-live developers will add this important feature soon.

    UEFI Secure Boot:
Debian does not yet support UEFI Secure Boot, but work is ongoing to enable this in a future release.

Is there a q4os install-only image? I'd like to try it on one of my machines (HP Stream 11), but need UEFI ability as it has a limited firmware that doesn't have legacy support (also has no OS at the moment after an ill-timed upgrade of Sparky Linux that uninstalled the kernel...whoops).

I too am having trouble with UEFI boot. Using Ventoy, I fail to boot Free10 image, but it can boot the Ver6 Andromeda image. Why would 1 work but not the other?
