I'm trying to connect an Apple bluetooth keyboard using "blueman", but the pairing window for entering a PIN doesn't show up. On Kubuntu 8.04 with "kbluetooth" it just worked. Any ideas? Maybe there's a way to install "kbluetooth" on Trinity?

There is no 'kbluetooth' package in current Trinity repositories. It looks like the Q4OS kernel didn't recognize your bluetooth device, as Blueman application should pair any recognized devices. You could search similar Debian related issues around, for example https://wiki.debian.org/BluetoothUser

I've just tried this guide, but it still doesn't work. :( And for some reason I can't use this command on Q4OS "sudo hidd --connect <BT_Address>". I've also looked here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=224673

Guys, could you just tell me, please, why the command "hidd --connect" doesn't work on Q4OS? It looks like almost every Bluetooth how-to guide is based on this command.
I have also found this guide which uses the command "bluez-simple-agent". But even though "bluez" is installed in the system, I can't enter this command either.
I really need this keyboard. HELP ME PLEASE!!!

You could try to install Debian 'bluez-firmware' and 'bluez-tools' package, it provides command line tools to functions of bluetooth. They are bluetooth adapter control, bluetooth agent, sound, input, network and other. You may need to install firmware for you keybard too.

I've installed all bluez packages, and "bluez-simple-agent" is still not present. This "bluetoothctl -a" command doesn't work either. On Mint 17 (and even on Kubuntu 8.04!, as I've mentioned before), my keyboard works out of the box. Maybe I could post here some blueman logs if you tell me how to do this?

Maybe I'll just add that blueman can see my keyboard, it is detected as "Apple Wireless Keyboard". :(

The 'hidd' command is not part of any Debian Jessie package, you can install it as external utility only. Regarding to missing 'bluez-simple-agent' command, see http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/157942/connecting-usb-keyboard-bluez-simple-agent-missing
