May I please know how to make my Android devices (tablets, phones) appear in the File Browser so I can browser their internal and external storage? Except for this part, your OS is perfect.
For examle, I have currently attached a Sony Xperia 2 tablet and lsusb lists the device:
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0fce:51b1 Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB
But when I browse for files using your internal file browser, no tablet is listed. Please take this into considiration in future releases as it should work out of the box but for now if you assist I will follow your instructions to get it to work.
Thanks

I have followed the instructions above installing mtp files without any success mounting Android phone. I note in the Debian example that Nautilus is mentioned, is this needed to have a successful mount? Has anyone had success accessing Android devices?

Q4OS doesn't support Android devices out of the box now. You need to install MTP to get your device mountable, please follow the Debian way https://wiki.debian.org/mtp . You can check this forum topic https://sourceforge.net/p/q4os/discussion/Support1/thread/4aa41eb2/
We agree, direct Android support would be nice feature for future Q4OS releases.
