Im part of a local group that provides donated hardware to seniors who cant afford their own. We only use Linux and we offer a number of distros for them to try and Q4OS has been a hit. Some have used Windows and they tended to gravitate towards Zorin or Linux Lite but after trying Q4OS theyve really flocked to it. The ease of install, the Windows like GUI and excellent speed on older hardware. The small download is also a big advantage plus the auto/no question-classic installer really lets them handle it themselves.
Its also straightforward enough that they do try to tweak it themselves and arent afraid of making mistakes.
