I am testing a Raspberry Pi2 to use as a thin client to access a Windows Server remote desktop. The Ubuntu-Mate project has made an image that will boot up on the RPi2 and I am using that at the moment. However, as minimal as the Mate desktop is on resources, I'm thinking that Q4os would be even better. I had no success booting Q4os on the RPi2. Any thoughts on creating an image of Q4os that would run on a RPi2?

We have no ARM/Raspberry-PI Q4OS eddition now, however we are thinking about to add ARM architecture. There could be two Q4OS editions, primarily for hard-float ARM v.11 CPUs and a special Raspberry PI optimized version. There could be a dedicated and optimized ARM Q4OS desktop computer, if we will find some partner to design the hardware.

There is the brand new Q4OS testing image for Raspberry PI. You can download here: http://www.q4os.org/downloads2.html
