[PyX-user] writeEPSfile produces huge postscript files

Dear All,
when writing to EPS I'm getting 500k files even
if only plotting axes and labels. Most of the PostScript
file contains Computer Modern fonts specification. What I don't
understand is why a latex document containing the
same number of fonts is only 20k.
Is this the normal behavior?
