Btw: I just tried out a simple plot, and I find the ticks to be overlayed by the bitmap. This is a similar issue as we had with the gridlined; There is an open bug report on this (1518414). We could introduce several canvases in the graph (background, gridlines, axes, ...) and the bitmap style draws on a different one than the other styles. This reminds me of another think I would love to see one day in PyX: contour lines, which must certainly be above the bitmap. Michael |
