Summary: Set breakpoint rejected at bottom of file after adding lines

Initial Comment:
Attempting to set a breakpoint on a line added at the
end of a file is rejected (line blahblah does not
exist) at bottom of file after adding lines. One must
first save the file. This is counterintuitive and
counterproductive.
