If feature requests are ignored then ability to file them should be removed. A suitable page should be shown describing why, should be put in place.

Leaving feature requests enabled in no way implies an obligation to
implement them.  Feel free to browse them yourself and implement whatever
you are capable of, but complaining about the lack of attention they get
helps noone.
