#9 TextField's cannot contain numbers

Dan Shafer's "Counter" tutorial doesn't seem to work for
me.

I can't seem to be able to set TextField's contents to a
number e.g. "42"

I appears that '42' is being evaluated into a number 42
(line 134), which is not acceptable input for the textfield
input (line 201).

Or did I do a bad installation?
