Erik and Tony,

You should have just been subscribed to two separate lists:

* python-control-discuss (this list)
* python-control-announce - announcements about the package

The plan is to use this list to have back and forth discussions related to the package, so that everyone can see the discussion.  If it gets to overwhelming (not likely, given that we are all doing this in our spare time!) we can use some of the other mechanisms on sourceforge (forums, tracking) to organize the discussions better.

Kristian, Gunnar and Enrico: I signed you all up for the announce list since you have been interacting with me on the project in some way and I figured you might be interested in occasional e-mail as functionality gets added.  If you want to be more involved in either development or discussions, I'm happy to add you to this list as well.  Just let me know.
