hi all,
i have been playing pysol for a while now running it directly from the place i downloaded it to. when i do this, it claims the player is root and games saved to favorites disappear between sessions. so i ran the install script (setup.py if memory serves) and now pysol.py is installed in usr/local/bin/ but it still won't allow my favorites or my sound settings to be persistant. what am i missing?
i am running ubuntu 9.10
thanks!

ok, i figured it out. the owner of my ~/.PySolFC was set to root so all i had to do was:
sudo chown -R dave .PySolFC/
replace the 'dave' above with your username and the delicate cosmic balance will be restored.
My solution based on @cryptozoologist's (thanks) was just deleting this folder. Done!
C:\Users\Marcelo\AppData\Roaming\PySolFC
