I've had another thought (what!? 4 ideas in a day?)
As it is now, any chat that has gone on in the main game chat channel is saved for all the world to see in a saved game.
Now, in my experience, people can be very stupid. These "stupid" people tend to do stupid things like give out personal information without thinking during game chat.
Perhaps this should be changed so that chat dialogue which has occured during the game is not saved with the game.
I can't think of any reason why it would be necessary to re-read a conversation which occured in a game I am resuming a couple of days later.

Well, I'd rather not disable saving the chat logs. Knowing how the world works, the one time I want the log to be saved, I will have told the game not to save it.
I've added another feature to disallow spectators from watching the game. That should solve the problem in a different manner, right?
