Category: install Group: v2.0 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Submitted By: Dobes V (dobesv) >Assigned to: Mike C. Fletcher (mcfletch) Summary: Fedora rpm build script/patch Initial Comment: For fedora core 4, this patch will let you build an RPM for your system! Changes: - disable togl build (sorry if you needed it - I use wxPython) - include lib64 in library search path - updated SWIG version ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mike C. Fletcher (mcfletch) Date: 2006-05-14 09:13 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=34901 I've merged almost all of this patch in, I dropped the duplicate /usr/lib directory and did not disable Togl building. I also allow for multiple versions of SWIG, 1.3.23 is still the "official" version for PyOpenGL, but if 1.3.24 is working for you, that's great. Thanks for the patch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Dobes V (dobesv) Date: 2006-04-10 17:04 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=400635 Worth mentioning the install instructions: mkdir ~/build cd ~/build tar -zxvf ~/downloads/PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01.tar.gz cd PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01 patch -p1 ~/downloads/pyopengl-fc4-build.patch cd .. fedora-buildrpmtree tar -cxvf ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES/PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01.tar.gz PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01 rpmbuild -tb ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES/PyOpenGL-2.0.2.01.tar.gz sudo yum localinstall ~/rpmbuild/RPMS/python-opengl*.rpm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=305988&aid=1467982&group_id=5988 |
