http://chrismcclimans.sent.com/QcPyPatchPlugin.png has a picture of my plugin loaded and working. A build of it is available at http://chrismcclimans.sent.com/ but it weighs in a 3 meg. Please try the source first. At the time when the working plugin was built with setup.py py2app, dist/PyQcPatchLoader.plugin/Contents/MacOS contained a single binary 'PyQcPatchLoader'. Now when I run python setup.py py2app the MacOS dir contains both 'python' and 'PyQcPathLoader' which, because of linking problems, the now library fails to load. I'm not sure what has changed. The source is http://chrismcclimans.sent.com/PyQcPatchLoadersrc.zip and I'm sure has glaring nasty errors. #Current development environment and source results in two binaries in MacOSX and it doesn't load correctly ~/Documents/qc/PyQcPatchLoader chris$ ls dist/PyQcPatchLoader.plugin/ Contents/MacOS/ PyQcPatchLoader python #Something yesterday worked fine, because I got the single binary and Quartz Composer loaded it. See the picture! ;) ~/Documents/qc/PyQcPatchLoader chris$ ls /Library/Graphics/Patches/ PyQcPatchLoader.plugin/Contents/MacOS/ PyQcPatchLoader Suggestions on where my errors lie would be great. I suspect it's in underlying software versions or my setup.py configuration. Software: py2app-0.3.5-py2.4 setuptools-0.6c3-py2.4 Python 2.4.3 framework build, built myself. -chris |
