Alright, I am receiving the same EXC_BAD_ACCESS signal as someone at the end of last month. I can't do the apphelper trick, i presume, since I am writing a bundle. I tried the AppHelper.runEventLoop(installInterrupt=False) trick, but it complains because there is no argv. It is also odd, because it occurs not upon executing Python code for the first time (Call to python glue, etc etc) but when I try to create an object. For those who want to see the code, it is the GMailAccount project on SourceForge, http://sf.net/projects/gmailaccount/ Just check out the sourcecode, compile and make a link to the resultant .mailbundle in your ~/Library/Mail/Bundles directory. It crashes when it tries to alloc and init the libgmailWrapper object in the GMailAccount fetchSynchronously selector.
