[PyMOL] Ditance between the stereo images

Hi all
I want to create a stereo image. I think the distance between the two stereo
images shouls be
around 6-7 cm. but, as i make cartoon stereo diagram with pymol.In order to
focus properly on
the residue which i want to illustate. I get the distance around 14-15cm
through pymol.
Kindly, can anyone help me on this problem.

Hi Jhon,

you are better off if you render/write-out the left/right images  
separately. A six degree difference gives a rather nice depth in your  
figure.

ray angle=3
png left-image.png

ray angle=-3
png right-image.png

You can then bring them together at 6.7 cm or even better 5.8 cm from  
each other.

[PyMOL] COVER image

Hello,

I am trying to make a picture for a cover and I am wondering how to make 
a vertical image.
(Pymol creates horizontal images, and journal covers are vertical)
Is there a way to creates those vertical images other than turning the 
image 90 degrees with the 'turn z, 90' command?

Try the command "png filename.png, 1200, 1600, -1, 1" to create an 
output image 1200 pixels wide by 1600 pixels tall, raytraced. To disable 
raytracing, change the last argument to zero.
