I don't know if there's a way to do this from within pymol, but it's fairly straightforward to do using mapman (from ccp4) - or your favorite map utility. That is why I am wondering if there is a way to save the carved ED around the ligands as a volume object and use this for the life presentation instead of the maps? I found a short article named "volume" and mentioning of the "map_new" but I could not fine a fuller description of these commands. > > The main problem is that I am using stereo projection and do not want to render pictures and movies, therefore all view will show up in 3D. > > I am using Win7 system with the Pymol v1.3.
