Dear Tasos, Rarely (in fact almost never) I get the description of a file format from a manufacturer and the implementation in PyMca is made from user supplied files. Users of tracer bruker usually save their data as CSV for use in PyMca. Artax support is fairly complete in last PyMca versions and I would privilege that format. I only have one .pdz file and by looking at it I can say that I am not ready to spend time reverse-engineering that format. If somebody has open source code ready to use it, then I can consider it. I do not expect to add support for pdz files in any short time because the CSV and the rtx solutions are alternatives that are available. As far as I have understood, your instrument should be able to generate pdz and CSV files. Some other users might provide you with more information concerning that last point.
