Logging of Alt-modified characters

(Probably this request is similar to other ones about dead keys.)
This is a wonderful program. I'm using it to collect my own keystroke frequencies under daily use for a while, in order to eventually build up a personalized keyboard layout.
Part of my daily activity is coding, and I use keystrokes like Ctrl-a or Alt-a a lot. I'd like to have these in my recorded statistics as well (at least the character part, I mean the 'a' without the Ctrl or Alt in my example). I've seen that Pykeylogger records the former, but not the latter. I hope that the keylogging of Alt-modified characters will be included in a future release. (Unfortunately I don't know Python or I'd contribute to this myself.)
Cheers.
FWIW, Alt is logged on Linux but not Windows.
