The following forum message was posted by moleculext at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4872902: Hello, I've classes and Interfaces in a C# dll and Eclipse Pydev completion works very well with class when i specify dll path in IronPython interpreter "System Libs". But completion does not work with interfaces. The name of the interface is detected but not its members and methods. Even if I create a simple inherited class in python, the new class does not have completion from parent's members and methods. Is it a known problem ? Does somebody experiences it ? Thanks |

The following forum message was posted by mustasch at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4866951: I'm pretty much fresh out of the womb here so I could use some help figuring out what is up and down in the world. I started a Michael Hartl's Ruby on Rails 3 Tutorial and I got Aptana Studio 3 up and running on Windows 7 and I can't seem to find a terminal command for opening files. In the tutorial they are using TextMate in a Unix enivroment and thus use '$ mate'. I've tried to google it but only found a post about someone with the same problem who he solved himself and then didn't post what the solution was. Doh! Grateful for any help at all. |

You could also try: from rdflib import Graph Which is what the library maintainer intended you to do, since they already imported all of the important classes into rdflib.__init__.py. - Craig - On 12/06/2011 06:16 AM, SourceForge.net wrote: > The following forum message was posted by willemmerson at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4866331: > > Hi, the code I am trying to execute is: > >
from rdflib.graph import Graph
> > The error I get is: > >
Traceback (most recent call last): > File "D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src\rdflib.py", line 15, in <module> > from rdflib.graph import Graph > File "D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src\rdflib.py", line 15, in <module> > from rdflib.graph import Graph > ImportError: No module named graph >
> > The pythonpath in eclipse is: > >
C:\Windows\system32\python27.zip > D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG > D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src > D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src > D:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\rdflib > D:\python27 > D:\python27\DLLs > D:\python27\lib > D:\python27\lib\lib-tk > D:\python27\lib\plat-win > D:\python27\lib\site-packages > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\pil-1.1.7-py2.7-win32.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\pyparsing-1.5.6-py2.7-win32.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\rdfextras-0.1-py2.7.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\simplejson-2.2.1-py2.7.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\sparqlwrapper-1.4.2-py2.7.egg >
> > The pythonpath from commandline is: >
C:\Windows\system32\python27.zip > D:\python27 > D:\python27\DLLs > D:\python27\lib > D:\python27\lib\lib-tk > D:\python27\lib\plat-win > D:\python27\lib\site-packages > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\pil-1.1.7-py2.7-win32.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\pyparsing-1.5.6-py2.7-win32.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\rdfextras-0.1-py2.7.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\simplejson-2.2.1-py2.7.egg > D:\python27\lib\site-packages\sparqlwrapper-1.4.2-py2.7.egg
> > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Cloud Services Checklist: Pricing and Packaging Optimization > This white paper is intended to serve as a reference, checklist and point of > discussion for anyone considering optimizing the pricing and packaging model > of a cloud services business. The following forum message was posted by fabioz at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4866331: The problem is that your main module is called 'rdflib' (so, when you import rdflib you're importing your module and not the one in the system). So, renaming D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src\rdflib.py to something else (i.e.: D:\Dropbox\workspace\pyNLG\src\rdflib_test.py) should make it work properly in your system. Cheers, Fabio |

The following forum message was posted by fabioz at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4866331: Which error are you having exactly (i.e.: is it only in code-analysis or are you getting an error when you run? Can you give details on it?) It'd also be nice if you could post the PYTHONPATH you have (both from the command line and from within Eclipse): import sys print('\n'.join(sorted(sys.path))) Cheers, Fabio |

The following forum message was posted by willemmerson at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4866331: I can't get rdflib to work in pydev. I can import rdflib but not rdflib.graph which is needed to run the examples. It works fine from IDLE or command line. Also, I tried another library (PIL) in pydev and that worked fine. I've tried expanding the egg file in site-packages, doesn't work. I'm using latest version of everything. Any ideas? |

The following forum message was posted by fabioz at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4834958: It seems you ran different things from within Eclipse (I can read what you got from the command line, but it's pretty hard to parse what you've run from Eclipse Please run: import sys print('\n'.join(sorted(sys.path))) from Eclipse and post the results again. Note: from a quick look, I believe you're adding /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.2/lib/python3.2/site-p ackages/matplotlib to the PYTHONPATH, and this directory should NOT be added (you're putting the internal stuff on matplotlib in the PYTHONPATH). Cheers, Fabio |

The following forum message was posted by fabioz at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4863807: This happens because the PyDev search will only have a pre-selected filter for Python files (it doesn't filter out things that are not in the PYTHONPATH). Please create a feature-request with your use case (there are plans to improve that search, although there's no date in it for now). Cheers, Fabio |

The following forum message was posted by shaqen at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4863807: When I do a PyDev search I get results from the 'build' directory (used when building and installing with setuptools). I don't quite understand why they are shown, and would like them not to be. Is this possible? My project is set up with the root project directory in the PYTHONPATH, in which are placed some scripts and Python packages. 'build' is just a regular directory -- _not_ a Python package. |

The following forum message was posted by luisespinoza at http://sourceforge.net/projects/pydev/forums/forum/293649/topic/4852813: Hi everybody, this is my first time in the forum. I successfully installed Pydev in Eclipse, I use Ubuntu 11.10 OS. (I followed the instructions I found on the web) BUT when I tried to Run there is always this bothering pop-up: "Launches an Ant build with default settings" What should I do, step by step? I simply couldnt do it, and I am almost mad :) Thanks a lot for all. --Luis |
