To get your current editor contents, right now you have to write the execfile
yourself:

e.g.:

execfile('c:\\path\\to\\my_file.py')

I think that's the only difference in Pydev extensions regarding the console
( http://fabioz.com/pydev/manual_adv_interactive_console.html ) -- it adds a
shortcut to start the console and to make that execfile.
