[Py2exe-users] Cannot run py2exe compiled app

Hello py2exe users,
 
I have been successfully using py2exe for several months now w/o
incident; however, I had need to add to my code and turn out another
release. This time, after running py2exe, my program will not run. It
runs fine when running the program from its source directory, but 
afterpy2exe compile, I am getting the following error when running 
the main exe:

AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute '__gen_path__'

I did not have this problem before. It looks like the build messages
indicate that the win32com component is being pulled from my Python24
path (that's what I'm using -- version 2.4). I noticed that I have a
number of win32com directories spread throughout my system and I was
wondering if there was a conflict somewhere. Has anyone encountered 
thisproblem or know what might be causing it?
