Has anyone successfully used py2exe with rpyc? The issue I have relates to the use of orig_help/help within the rpyc code. My application uses wxpython and it runs correctly as a standard python application. There are no errors when creating the executable using py2exe. However, when the resulting executable is started, I get the following errors. Traceback (most recent call last): File "reconciliation.py", line 14, in <module> File "summitorders.pyc", line 6, in <module> File "Rpyc\__init__.pyc", line 7, in <module> File "Rpyc\Lib.pyc", line 15, in <module> NameError: name 'help' is not defined Any thoughts would be appreciated. I temporarily resolved the issue by commenting out all references to orig_help in the rpyc code (fortunately only two small changes) but this is not a good approach for the long term. Russell |
