Hey Folks, I'm trying to build an application using py2exe and everything was working well until I added pyserial to the mix. Now, when I build my executable I get the following messages: copying C:\Python26\lib\site-packages\py2exe\run_w.exe -> C:\Documents and Settings\Max\Desktop\Filter Changer\dist\main.exe The following modules appear to be missing ['gdk', 'ltihooks', 'serial'] I'm not sure what's going on, but when I run my newly built application it fails, leaving me a log file which says: Traceback (most recent call last): File "main.py", line 12, in <module> ImportError: No module named serial Now, this works just fine when I run my script through the interpreter, but obviously py2exe isn't seeing the pyserial package and isn't loading it. I found a very brief mention of this in the FAQ, but I'm not clear on what I need to do. Anyway, has anyone else run into this problem?
